Ted Baumann

Ted Baumann is a celebrated economist and best-selling author. 

Born in Washington, D.C., and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Ted’s travels have taken him to over 90 countries. As a young man, he moved to Cape Town, South Africa, to attend university. There, he earned postgraduate degrees in economics, politics and history. He is now a dual citizen of the U.S. and South Africa.

Early in his career, Ted worked with global organizations looking to help impoverished communities in developing world cities build economic and social independence from government. His efforts helped improve the lives of over 6 million people around the world.

After returning to the U.S. in 2008, Ted embarked on a second career in financial analysis and publishing. In partnership with his father Robert — a former U.S. congressman, who served with every president from Dwight D. Eisenhower to Ronald Reagan — he wrote the highly-acclaimed “Forbidden Knowledge,” “Endless Income” and “Where to Stash Your Cash (Legally).”  They also founded an independent financial research firm that included a veritable who’s who of investment and privacy experts. 

Ted has an enthusiastic, lifelong commitment to helping people realize financial and personal freedom without sacrificing their independence to politicians and organizations who don’t have their best interest in mind. Innately suspicious of institutional power centers and manipulated markets, he specializes in “off-Wall Street” investments and other “off-grid” strategies. His Endless Income portfolio trounced the stock market throughout the entire COVID pandemic, ensuring thousands of people ongoing income as the rest of the market collapsed.
