BeOne Medicines AG (ONC) Up 5.8% — Time to Strike?

  • ONC rose 5.85% to $399.88 from $377.78 the previous trading day
  • Weiss Ratings assigns B- (Buy)
  • Market cap is $42.95B

BeOne Medicines AG (ONC) is surging this Friday, last changing hands at $399.88 on the NASDAQ —  a $22.10 gain over the prior close of $377.78. The advance has carried the stock straight through its previous 52-week high of $388.66, set on October 21, 2026, and ONC is now trading roughly 2.9% above that level. Breaking into new high ground barely two weeks after the last peak shows how much buying interest has built behind this name.

Volume confirms the conviction. Roughly 631,033 shares have traded so far against a 90-day average of about 386,641, putting turnover more than 60% above normal with the session still open.

Why BeOne Medicines AG Price is Moving Higher

The driver is a decisive beat-and-raise quarter. On November 5, BeOne reported Q3 revenue of $1.89 billion, up 33.8% year over year and 7.6% ahead of the $1.76 billion consensus. Adjusted diluted EPS came in at $4.59 per ADS, up from $1.09 a year earlier and 30.8% above the $3.51 estimate. GAAP net income jumped 208% to $385 million. The engine behind the quarter was BRUKINSA, whose sales climbed 34% to $1.4 billion, which confirms that BeOne's flagship BTK inhibitor is still taking share at scale. Management followed the print by lifting its 2026 revenue outlook from $6.6 billion–$6.8 billion to $6.9 billion–$7.0 billion and raising its non-GAAP operating income forecast from $1.7 billion–$1.8 billion to $1.9 billion–$2.0 billion. A guidance raise of that size this late in the year tells investors the fourth quarter is tracking well ahead of plan.

The pipeline gave the market a second reason to pay up. BeOne disclosed that the FDA granted Priority Review to its Phase 3 MANGROVE filing, and the company is set to present MANGROVE results at the American Society of Hematology meeting in December. That gives the stock a visible near-term catalyst on top of the commercial momentum. Wall Street moved quickly on Friday. Barclays raised its price target from $415 to $446, citing the "beat and raise" quarter and pipeline value, and Citizens lifted its target from $405 to $463, pointing to BRUKINSA growth and the upcoming trial data.

This rally belongs to BeOne, not the peer group. Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (TMO) is up 2.55% and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) is ahead 1.04%. Those are solid sessions, but neither comes close to ONC's 5.85% gain. The gap is the market pricing in company-specific results and a stronger outlook.

What is the BeOne Medicines AG Rating - Should I Buy?

Weiss Ratings assigns ONC a B- rating. Current recommendation is Buy. The rating reflects a company that has moved from cash-burning developer to profitable commercial oncology franchise, with shareholder returns and balance sheet strength to show for it.

The strongest support comes from the Excellent ratings on both the Total Return Index and the Solvency Index. On returns, a stock now trading above its prior 52-week peak of $388.66 has rewarded holders consistently, and Friday's earnings-driven breakout extends that record. On solvency, the Excellent rating fits a business that now funds a broad global oncology pipeline from its own operations. A $1.9–$2.0 billion non-GAAP operating income forecast for 2026 gives BeOne room to fund late-stage programs like MANGROVE without leaning on outside capital. The Good rating on the Growth Index reflects revenue growth of 29.63%, and the 33.8% year-over-year jump in the third quarter shows that pace is holding up. The rating stops short of Excellent largely because so much of that growth still depends on a single franchise, BRUKINSA.

Where the picture becomes more nuanced is profitability. BeOne is rated Fair on the Efficiency Index, and the numbers explain why. A 10.69% profit margin and a 14.66% ROE are respectable for a company only recently past breakeven, but they trail what mature large-cap pharma generates. The 208% jump in quarterly GAAP net income shows those figures are moving the right way, and further margin expansion is the most obvious path to a higher rating. The Volatility Index is also rated Fair. A nearly 6% single-day jump on earnings shows how sharply this stock can reprice around results and clinical readouts, and the same applies when news cuts the other way.

Within the Health Care sector, BeOne sits alongside Johnson & Johnson (JNJ, B-) and Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (TMO, B-). It trails Eli Lilly and Company (LLY, B) and AbbVie Inc. (ABBV, B), and sits further behind Amgen Inc. (AMGN, B+). For a company growing revenue at nearly 30%, keeping pace with established, diversified Health Care giants on overall risk/reward is a strong showing.

About BeOne Medicines AG

BeOne Medicines AG (ONC) is a global oncology company in the Health Care sector. Formerly known as BeiGene, the company is domiciled in Switzerland and runs a commercial and research footprint spanning the United States, Europe, and China. BeOne discovers, develops, and commercializes cancer therapies, with a heavy focus on hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. Its in-house clinical development organization lets it run large global trials more efficiently than many peers.

The commercial centerpiece is BRUKINSA, a next-generation BTK inhibitor used across several B-cell cancers, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia. It has become one of the fastest-growing products in the category and now generates $1.4 billion in a single quarter. Alongside it, the PD-1 antibody TEVIMBRA gives BeOne a presence in immuno-oncology across a range of solid tumor indications. Behind these marketed products sits a deep hematology pipeline, including the BCL2 inhibitor sonrotoclax and a BTK degrader program. Both are designed to build combination regimens around the BRUKINSA franchise and extend its lifecycle.

BeOne's advantage comes from its scale in hematology, its global manufacturing and clinical infrastructure, and its ability to generate head-to-head data that supports BRUKINSA's position against competing BTK inhibitors. The company is now profitable, and that cash flow funds a pipeline wide enough to keep the oncology platform growing as the current franchise matures.

Investor Outlook

BeOne Medicines AG (ONC) carries a Weiss Rating of B- (Buy), and a beat-and-raise quarter, rising analyst targets, and a fresh 52-week high give investors a clear growth story with momentum behind it. The next test comes in December, when MANGROVE results are presented at ASH. Investors should also watch whether BRUKINSA's 34% growth rate carries BeOne to the top of its raised $6.9 billion–$7.0 billion revenue range.
