Investment Strategy
The investment seeks total return. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in bonds and other debt instruments that are issued by borrowers located in emerging market countries or that are denominated in the currencies of emerging market countries. The fund's manager currently considers "emerging market countries" to include countries contained in the J.P. Morgan GBI-EM Global Diversified Index, as well as India, China, the Czech Republic, and Venezuela.
