The investment seeks total returns that track the performance of the S&P 500 Index. The fund invests substantially all of its assets (more than 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in the large company common stocks included in the S&P 500 Index in the proportions in which they are represented in the index. The S&P 500 Index is comprised of 500 domestic large company stocks.
