The fund seeks to invest broadly in large-cap and mid-cap issuers across major countries and sectors of the international economy, with some exposure to small-cap issuers. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of its net assets in a broadly diversified portfolio of equity investments in non-U.S. issuers. The fund's managers consider a non-U.S. issuer to be an issuer that is economically tied to a country other than the United States.
