The investment seeks to generate an attractive level of current income for distribution to the fund's stockholders; preserve and protect the fund's stockholders’ capital investments; achieve appreciation of the fund's NAV and enable the fund's stockholders to allocate a portion of their diversified, long-term investment portfolios to real estate as an alternative asset class. The fund's investment strategy is to acquire a diversified portfolio of high-quality, income-producing real estate properties, common and preferred stock of publicly traded REITs.
