The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in long or short positions in equity securities. Equity securities include, but are not limited to, common and preferred stocks as well as convertible securities, such as options, in domestic and foreign companies. It may invest up to 25% of its total assets, calculated at the time of purchase, in securities of foreign companies, including emerging market companies.
