A Special Holiday Bonus for You: What I Told Investors in Las Vegas

It’s Memorial Day, which means the stock and bond markets in the U.S. are closed. I hope you’re enjoying the holiday with your family and/or friends, and are using the time to “recharge your batteries” like I am.

Why? Because I believe we’re facing some of the greatest market challenges in more than a decade. And I worry that many investors are, to be frank, “doing everything wrong.”

Expecting the incredibly benign and artificially non-volatile March 2009 – January 2018 market environment to persist. Investing heavily in the wrong assets. Ignoring the need for downside protection. Spending too much time focusing on peripheral markets. Getting distracted by news stories that are nothing more than sideshows.

The list of pitfalls is long. So long, in fact, that I dedicated my presentation at the MoneyShow Las Vegas last week to helping investors avoid them.

If you were able to make it, great. If not, as a special holiday bonus, I’m sharing this link to that video presentation. It will run for just under an hour, and I hope and trust you’ll find it valuable.

Meanwhile, I’ll be attending future MoneyShow conferences in San Francisco, Toronto, and Dallas later this summer and fall. You can find out more information, and get registered to attend for free, by clicking here.

Happy Memorial Day and I’ll be in touch again soon.

Until next time,

Mike Larson
