AT&T is the highest rated U.S. telecommunication company with a B+ investment rating from us. Verizon and T-Mobile are right behind with a B rating. The lesser known Level 3 Communications and Spok Holdings are also B rated, Cincinnati Bell holds a B-.

Overall, the telecommunication sector doesn’t look too promising with only 9.9 percent of BUY stocks. It appears that the largest global corporations, like China Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and NTT Docomo are the highest rated, possibly because of their market size and the scope of operation.
