Juan Villaverde — econometrician and pro trader — discovered a long-term Bitcoin boom-bust cycle after applying his mathematical algorithms to BTC.
Combining this discovery with the teachings of cycles pioneer J.M. Hurst, Juan built the world's first Crypto Timing Model based on cycles and is the lead architect of the Weiss Crypto Ratings Model.
Today, he combines both to achieve the best of both worlds. He uses the ratings model to determine what to buy or sell.
Also, with the help of the timing model, the Weiss crypto team warned investors away from Bitcoin (BTC) before it fell dramatically in 2018. And just three days before Bitcoin hit rock bottom, Juan told tens of thousands of investors it was finally time to buy again.
Alongside Juan is his co-editor, Alex Benfield, who analyzes and contributes to Weiss Crypto Portfolio. He has been actively researching and investing in cryptocurrencies since 2017.
Alex focuses on timing the market to optimize medium- and long-term swing trades on blue-chip cryptocurrencies and also gauges market sentiment data to find rising lesser-known crypto assets ready to explode in growth.
