In this week's episode, I speak with Chris Graebe, a startup investing specialist and senior editor of Deal Hunters Alliance.
If you paid attention to the interview we did a couple weeks ago, we had such an exciting time introducing Chris to the group and talking about all the awesome opportunities he was bringing us.
And sure enough, members of Deal Hunters Alliance more than delivered on the first early stage investing opportunity. In fact, the startup company targeted has already been overfunded, with $7.33 million committed, far surpassing the company's goal of $5 million by 46.6%!
Even so, Chris wants to remind those who missed their chance to invest in the Alpha Round that they still have an opportunity to get in as the company will place them on a wait list in case some portion of the $5M doesn't make it to escrow.
The funds committed doesn't mean all the funds are there. So, having a wait list means the door may still be ajar for those who want to slide into another investor's spot in line.
And you should want to get into this deal! The company's technology is powerful stuff. Chris explained that in a state like Florida where hurricanes are frequent, they'll come through and knock out your power for three or four days. If your home has an energy storage system that this company manufacturers, congratulations, you still have electricity.
