Big things are here

Big things are happening at Weiss Ratings, and I want you to be among the first to know.

Over the next couple weeks, you’ll notice some major upgrades to our website, WeissRatings.com.

These changes aren’t just cosmetic. They’re the culmination of nearly a century of financial insight and innovation.

It all started in 1929 when Irving Weiss, Dr. Martin Weiss’ father, saw everyday investors were at a huge disadvantage compared to the game-makers on Wall Street.

“Tough times are ahead,” he warned.

But veteran stockbrokers laughed at him.

“Weiss is just a kid,” they said. “What does he know?”

But he was worried about those whose livelihoods, pensions and retirements depended on the market, and he had the data to back it up.

Irving had done the math. So, he decided to do something rash.

He told investors to sell everything.

Using his formulas, he identified the companies he thought were the riskiest. He called them “Dogs of the Dow.”

Sure enough, they were among the stocks that crashed the most in the early 1930s.

The stock market was in shambles.

But that moment marked the beginning of a legacy at Weiss Ratings.

A legacy of empowering everyday investors with the kind of data, tools and foresight once reserved for the financial elite.

Since then, with Martin Weiss carrying the torch, Weiss Ratings has accurately forecast nearly every major boom and bust since 1971.

That includes the Dot-Com crash of 2000-2003, the housing bust of 2007, the Great Financial Crisis of 2008, the COVID market shock and the rise of artificial intelligence investing.

Behind the scenes, we’ve spent decades building, refining and improving our models.

Our database, algorithms and proprietary ratings have helped investors ride the market waves and also save themselves from devastation, time and time again.

That’s why we were rated No. 1 by The Wall Street Journal in accuracy and profit performance — more accurate, in fact, than Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Standard & Poor’s and all other firms covered …

Similarly, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) reported Weiss Ratings beat other agencies by at least 3-to-1 in accuracy.

During this time, we’ve continually delivered accurate data on nearly every listed company and investment in North America to investors.

That includes over 50,000 ratings, plus more than 100 billion accessible data points for stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, cryptocurrencies, banks, credit unions and insurance companies …

With 18 investment services, five investing courses and tens of thousands of research reports …

With unmatched track record in our stock, insurance and bank ratings …

You, and some of our most loyal members, needed a way to discover and use our most powerful data easier and more effectively.

All of this is why we’ve reimagined the Weiss Ratings website.

Making it easier than ever to use our trusted ratings and research so you can make smarter, faster and more confident investment decisions.

And now we are taking it even further …

Back in 2020 when stocks were plummeting and the whole world was in shake-up, Dr. Martin Weiss did something unprecedented.

He unlocked the Weiss Ratings for free for the whole world to use.

When times were tough, the Weiss Ratings were there to help everyone make sound, data-backed investment decisions.

Now with the landscape of our financial future changing by the day, he is taking it another giant step further.

You see, everything available on our site is just the tip of the iceberg.

Much of the research, analysis and data we have behind the curtain is even more impressive.

And so, with the change to the website, we are going to give our most loyal members access to even more.

We will be launching our premium data, research and ratings.
