Investment Strategy
The investment seeks current income and long-term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in fixed income securities and other debt instruments. The fund’s assets are allocated across different fixed-income market sectors and maturities. The fund may invest up to 10% of its assets in debt securities that are rated below investment grade (commonly referred to as “high-yield” or “junk bonds”).
