The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. Normally, the fund invests primarily in a broad range of equity securities of any market capitalization. It may invest without limitation in securities in companies domiciled outside the United States either directly or through ADRs. From time to time, the fund may invest a substantial portion of its assets in the stock of companies in one or more sectors of the economy, such as the technology, industrial, healthcare and life sciences sectors.
