The investment seeks long-term growth of capital and dividend income. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in a broadly diversified portfolio of equity investments in large-cap U.S. issuers. These issuers have public stock market capitalizations similar to those of companies constituting the Russell 1000® Index, which is a market capitalization-weighted index of approximately 1,000 of the largest companies in the U.S. equity market.
