Investment Strategy
The investment seeks the preservation of capital while generating current income from its investments and seeking to maximize the portfolio's total return. The fund pursues its investment objective by investing in a portfolio composed primarily of senior secured loans of U.S. middle-market companies (“Senior Loans”). The fund may invest in lower grade investments, commonly called “junk,” which are either rated below investment grade by one or more nationally-recognized statistical rating agencies at the time of investment or may be unrated but determined by the Adviser to be of comparable quality.
