The investment seeks to generate current income and, to a lesser extent, long-term capital appreciation. The fund will seek to meet the fund's investment objective by: utilizing the expertise of the Ares Credit Group, along with the broader resources of Ares, in sourcing, evaluating and structuring transactions; employing a longstanding investment approach focused on long-term credit performance and downside protection, generally investing in loans with asset coverage ratios and interest coverage ratios that the fund's investment adviser believes provide substantial credit protection. It is non-diversified.
