The investment seeks to generate current income and, capital appreciation through the sourcing and origination of senior secured loans and select junior capital positions to growing businesses in defensive industries that offer attractive risk-adjusted returns. Under normal circumstances, the fund's manager will invest at least 80% of the fund's total assets (net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes) in private credit investments (loans, bonds and other credit instruments that are issued in private offerings or issued by private companies). The fund is non-diversified.
