The investment seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of large- and mid-capitalization developed market equities, excluding the U.S. and Canada. The portfolio normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in securities listed in the MSCI® Europe, Australasia, Far East (MSCI EAFE) Index. The index is designed to represent the performance of approximately 1,000 large and mid-cap securities across 21 developed markets, primarily from Europe, Australia, Asia and the Far East, and covers approximately 85% of the free float-adjusted market capitalization in each of the 21 countries.
