The investment seeks long-term capital growth. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of emerging market companies, and in other instruments, such as shares of exchange-traded funds, that have economic characteristics similar to such securities. The equity securities in which it invests are primarily common stocks, but may also include preferred stock, American Depositary Receipts, European Depositary Receipts and Global Depositary Receipts. The fund may invest in securities of companies with any market capitalization. It is non-diversified.
