With the highly contagious Delta variant on the loose, COVID-19 infections are spiking in communities across the country.
“I cannot emphasize this enough: I do not expect the economy to close down. It will not. But we are going to see adjustments in behavior, in the economy, in what people buy, the companies that do well,” says senior analyst Sean Brodrick, editor of Wealth Megatrends.
And that means investors should adjust how they approach the stock market for the rest of the year.
Sean’s subscribers are seeing gains after adding exposure to different asset classes ... and positions leveraged to the pandemic.
“There are a lot of ways to “play” the pandemic. That’s what I’ve been doing in my portfolio — adding some stocks that should do well as more news on the pandemic spreads,” Sean says.
In this special, four-minute video segment, Sean sheds light on a company that’s riding this new pandemic wave. He also notes two sectors that’ll likely prove vulnerable to worsening coronavirus news. The market, he warns, is priced for perfection.
Because the market is priced for perfection, any bad news on the pandemic is going to send it sliding lower. We can expect outsized reactions.
There are plenty of stocks that are going to go higher. We know hospitals need more protective gear right now. They probably thought they had enough. Now, they’re probably going to have to go and order more.
The same stocks that did well last year can probably do well again. This might not be a boom like last year, but it’ll certainly be an echo.
I am not bearish on this year whatsoever. A short-term pullback would not surprise me in the least.
But I think at the end of the year, we’ll be quite happy with how things end up.
In this insightful video, Sean discusses:
• A rising company that’s leveraged to two current market booms.
• An exchange-traded fund (ETF) “on a great run” while “money rotates into” this exploding industry.
• Why a once “suppressed” sector, “immune to pandemic news,” is emerging as a global megatrend.
And more!
The information in this short segment couldn’t be timelier. I suggest you watch it now.
Happy investing!
