AppHarvest, Inc., an applied agricultural technology company, develops and operates indoor farms with robotics and artificial intelligence to build climate-resilient food system. Its products include tomatoes; and other fruits and vegetables, such as berries, peppers, cucumbers, and salad greens. AppHarvest, Inc. was incorporated in 2018 and is based in Morehead, Kentucky. On July 23, 2023, AppHarvest, Inc., filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. It is in joint administration with AppHarvest Products, LLC. The plan was later approved as Chapter 11 liquidation on September 14, 2023.
