iShares Core Canadian Short Term Bond Index ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited. The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests in the fixed income markets of Canada. The fund invests in investment grade federal, provincial, municipal and corporate bonds with a term to maturity between one and five years. It seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE Canada Short Term Overall Bond Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares Core Canadian Short Term Bond Index ETF was formed on November 20, 2000 and is domiciled in Canada.
