VIDEO: ‘DeFi’ Is Exploding With Profit Potential
There’s a four-letter word revolutionizing finance: “DeFi."
It’s short for decentralized finance, and it’s made possible by cutting-edge blockchain technologies.
DeFi is not only an exploding sector of the crypto sphere but also one of the biggest wealth-generating trends in the world.
• In just over a year, the sector grew from $1 billion to well over $100 billion.
Today, we’re exploring how investors can score huge in DeFi, with none other than Chris Coney, a world-renowned digital currency expert, DeFi educator and Weiss Ratings’ fintech and blockchain specialist.
Chris — who earned degrees in computer science and information engineering — is the founder of Cryptoversity, the first online school for all things cryptocurrency.
Traders from across the globe have accessed his content on Bitcoin (BTC),altcoins (any crypto other than Bitcoin) and blockchain platforms producing limitless profit opportunities.
Chris is also the host of Weiss Crypto’s Sunday Special, where he interviews crypto experts on hot topics affecting both new and seasoned investors.
He tells me no matter how in-depth discussions get, it all boils down to one factor:
The goal of the Sunday Special is to take all the intel and resources at Weiss Ratings and from our experts and give people a macro-level view of things. It’s always centered around one question: How do you make money in crypto?
Chris recently interviewed crypto and cycles analyst Juan Villaverde, editor of Weiss Crypto Portfolio, and Marija Matic, editor of Undiscovered Cryptos.
Further, Chris released several training videos for members of Undiscovered Cryptos, demonstrating to investors how to navigate the most popular DeFi networks and protocols.
Chris is passionate about sharing his knowledge of the crypto markets and demystifying the space.
He was an early investor back in 2013 and has consistently achieved impressive wins, finding coins like Dash when it was trading for just $9 … before it soared to $1,500 per coina year later — a 16,566% gain.
In this six-minute video segment, Chris explains some of the key differences between DeFi and traditional finance, and how those differences have given rise to the trend of yield farming, where double-digit annual percentage yield (APY) is there for the taking.
With zero intermediaries in the space, Chris says DeFi platforms are all vying for investors to use them and providing incentives:
In crypto, custody of the asset is with the individual. That’s not the case in the old financial system, where an individual investor does not have possession of their assets. It’s held by a broker or a bank.
Because you have custody of your asset, in just two clicks, you can rip it out of one transaction and put it with another service provider. So, these service providers must court your business.
And that’s what we’re finding with these yield farms that offer yields on stablecoins and other crypto assets. Because it’s two clicks to move your money, competition is rife.
In this insightful video, Chris discusses:
• The “only two ways of making money in the financial sector.”
• How “10,000 crypto assets” are being categorized within the crypto space.
• How stablecoins can be the lifeblood of “true global finance.”
And more!
The information in this short segment couldn’t be timelier. I suggest you watch it now. And I also suggest you check out Chris's DeFi MasterClass before you lose your chance.
Happy investing!
