This can be tricky. While we all have opinions on the subject, we can’t give individual financial advice.
Your portfolio is yours. And only you can make decisions about how much of it you want to use for our system.
That said, we can share how we did it for our back testing.
The simple answer is we built the system to hold an equal-weighted amount of each position as if there were 20 at any given time … plus a small 10% cash reserve.
That works out to a 4.5% allocation in every single trade — no matter if 20 meet our requirements or only three, as is currently the case.
So, while only you can make the decision of how much you want to put into each trade, for Dr. Martin Weiss’ portfolio, he has roughly 13.5% of his money spread across the current three trades. The rest is cash.
But it’s a great question. And we love how you think!
