With the threat of more tariffs on pause for now, the crypto markets have begun to stabilize.
And there is likely more good news on the horizon.
The latest wave of volatility likely helped altcoins establish a new low, as you can see below.

Not only that, but global liquidity — which is rocket fuel for crypto — has also been rising modestly for all of 2025.
And since global liquidity leads crypto prices by about 10 weeks, buoyant prices may already be baked in for this quarter … right as the cycles tell us to expect a rally.
Most investors are likely to look to established, blue-chip cryptos to ride this next rally. And that’s great!
But you’re not going to see them post outsized returns. Rather, newer and smaller projects tend to outperform at times like these.
That’s not to say that all small-cap projects will rally hard. But smaller cryptos have more room to run. The stronger, more promising ones will take advantage of that longer runway.
And one I think could fit that bill is …
Wayfinder: dApp Development the AI Way
Wayfinder (PROMPT, Not Yet Rated) is an omni-chain AI protocol designed to simplify complex cryptocurrency operations.
It enables users to command AI agents — called "Shells" — to perform various blockchain tasks. This includes moving assets across chains, deploying smart contracts and interacting with decentralized applications (dApps).
This novel approach doesn’t just distinguish it from other blockchains. It means Wayfinder makes developing platforms on the blockchain easier.
It means users can interact with a natural language interface for executing both simple (e.g., sending tokens) and complex strategies (e.g., lending, supplying liquidity).
Wayfinder also appeals to developers thanks to its omni-chain architecture, which allows seamless operations across multiple blockchains, such as Ethereum and Polygon, to enhance compatibility and utility.
Additionally, the platform's integration with gaming and AI applications — such as enabling on-chain games to manage AI agents or distribute resources — provides a competitive edge in sectors like DeFi and gaming.
The PROMPT Token
Wayfinder’s token, PROMPT — a utility token used to secure pathways, pay protocol fees, incentivize network activities and participate in airdrops and social missions — only launched last week.
But its price action has been promising.

PROMPT quickly hit ATH of 60 cents before pulling back a bit. That’s typical for new coins.
More notably, it has hit a similar market cap to its sister coin, Echelon Prime (PRIME, Not Yet Rated), which has a market cap of $163 million. PROMPT is expected to reach $40 million by 2025, driven by its innovative features and growing adoption.
Currently, only 22% of PROMPT tokens are in circulation. But 50% is planned to be distributed to the community in time.
That’s a really good sign, as it means PROMPT is unlikely to see wealth centralization.
Final Thoughts
Several potential red flags have been identified based on community feedback:
For example, some users have raised concerns about the lack of clarity regarding funding details (e.g., who raised funds, how much, from whom) and smart-contract specifics.
That doesn’t mean there’s necessarily a problem. But it’s always worth a closer look when there’s opacity in operations.
There are also potential reward distribution issues. Reports of dissatisfaction among users have surfaced, claiming that airdrop and staking rewards were unevenly distributed to favor influencers over early adopters.
At this point, however, I think these red flags are minor. More so, they are typical of what usually plagues new token launches.
That said, investing in small-cap projects, especially new ones, presents more risk exposure. Investors interested in opportunities like PROMPT will have to take that into their calculations.
Best,
Dr. Bruce Ng
