A Pair of Miners for Santa’s Nice List!

by Sean Brodrick

Last week, I told you that gold would likely go lower before heading higher again — and I also told you what to avoid and what to look for in gold miners.

Sure enough, we’ve seen lower prices in the yellow metal. But the “buy” point is coming!

Last week, in my premium publication Resource Trader, I told Members to grab three rounds of gains in gold producers. Now, we’re waiting, watching and picking our stocks for the next big run.

So, let me share two videos with you. One is a silver producer with big expansion plans. The other is a gold developer that’s about to go into production.

Where do they go on Santa’s precious metal naughty or nice list? Definitely nice!

I filmed these videos during my recent trip to New Orleans. As we wait to pull the trigger on precious metals again, these two are indeed interesting

Interview No. 1: A Silver Producer About to Crank Up Production

Aya Gold & Silver (TSX: AYA) (OTCQX: AYASF) is busy working in Morocco, where it has a producing silver mine. It is also exploring a new polymetallic deposit.

Morocco is a pro-mining country with a lot of overlooked assets. Alex Ball, VP of corporate development and investor relations, gives us the scoop:

Aya is producing about 2 million ounces of silver per year now. BUT, it’s about to boost that to more than 8 million ounces starting in 2024

It has a pipeline of future projects in the works. With high grades and low costs, Aya has a lot going for it.

Let’s look at the weekly chart of Aya Gold & Silver. I’ve added silver in blue behind the price action in Aya, so you can see how this stock moves with the metal …

You can see that Aya peaked with the price of silver two weeks ago. That’s OK. We’ll probably see a bottom in silver soon. That’s when Aya will look attractive again. Not only because it will be at a lower price, but because we’ll see a new resource estimate in Q1 of next year … and probably more news on the next project it is exploring.

Interview No. 2: A Developer Targeting Gold Production Next Year

In New Orleans, I also interviewed Jessie Liu-Ernsting, VP of investor relations for G Mining Ventures (TSX-V: GMIN) (OTCQX: GMINF)

This is a fairly new company that is charging ahead with a project in Brazil. The Tocantinzinho Gold Project is funded to production and will enter commercial production in the second half of 2024. Here, Jessie gives us the details.

G Mining has deep-pocketed friends, including Franco-Nevada (FNV), which paid $250 million to finance the mine and collect a gold stream.

Let’s look at a weekly chart. I’ve added the price action in gold as a gold-colored line behind G Mining’s price action.

You can see that G Mining Ventures generally moves with gold, though not as closely as Aya Gold & Silver tracks silver. That’s probably because G Mining isn’t in production (yet).

Anyway, the stock recently peaked and is pulling back with the metal. Better entry prices await down the road.

The price of gold has its ups and downs. A pullback after a new high is no surprise to me. Just as it won’t surprise me at all to see gold surge to new highs, and silver will go along for the ride. Select stocks — those leveraged to the price of gold and silver, that avoid the pitfalls I talked about last week — could do very, very well indeed in that coming rally.

I’ll give my paying Members lots of ideas and tell them when to buy and when to sell. You can join them by clicking here.

If you’re doing this on your own, be careful. But don’t miss out.

All the best,

Sean
