David Phillips

David T. Phillips is a nationally recognized consumer advocate for insurance, annuities and estate planning with 53 years of experience. 

He is the author of bestselling books – “Estate Planning Made Easy,” “The 10 Most Common Estate Planning Mistakes and How to Avoid Them,” “The Family Bank Strategy,” “The Bombshell Battle Plan: How to Defend Against the IRS’ Secret Weapon” and “Disinherit the IRS.”

Mr. Phillips has been a featured speaker at a multitude of investment conferences around the globe and a guest on national television including: CNN, Fox News, CNBC, Money Talks, and Bloomberg. 

David is a current columnist for the popular newsletter Generational Wealth Strategies and is now proud to have been selected as a Signature Advisor for The Weiss Group.

David is the CEO and founder of Estate Planning Specialists. With clients in every state, his companies have assisted thousands of Americans to properly plan their estates. 

Mr. Phillips graduated from Brigham Young University. He is an active member of his church and enjoyed coaching the Arizona State University Water Ski Team from 1994-2006, winning the National Championships in 2001. 

David and his wife, Jane, have 4 children and 12 grandchildren.
