Glossary
1-Year Asset Growth

The percentage change in total assets over the previous 12 months. Moderate growth is generally a positive indicator since it can reflect the maintenance or expansion of the company’s market share, leading to the generation of additional revenues. Excessive growth, however, is generally a sign of trouble as it can indicate a loosening of underwriting practices in order to attract new business.

5-Year Asset Growth

The percentage change in total assets over the past 5 years. This ratio elaborates on the long term growth and performance and gives more insight on the stability of the company’s operations.

5-Yr. Chrg.-Offs to Avg. Loans
