Ethereum’s ETF Brings Volatility and Optimism to the Markets

Crypto prices saw their fair share of volatility this week.

What started out as a market looking to digest the bullishness shifted back and forth between that consolidation and spurts higher as investors grew more optimistic that a spot Ethereum (ETH, “A-”) ETF would be approved.

And on Thursday, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission did indeed approve the listing of spot Ethereum ETFs.

It did not, however, approve any single ETF.

Crypto Market Continues Higher Ahead of Ethereum ETF Decision

Marija Matic highlighted this exact scenario on Monday, explaining this “slow play” approach could let the SEC further evaluate the market conditions or the specific structures of these ETFs without outright denying the applications.

She also said that a period of volatility following would also be likely. Looking at the price action following the announcement, she was right on the money again. But what Marija is most excited about is still to come: She anticipates ETH could see a swift recovery now that investors can be confident an ETH ETF is on the horizon.

But according to Juan Villaverde, there is plenty of room for two winners in this narrative battle. And he shows how you can play both to your advantage.

3 Benefits and 5 Leaders of the Real Estate Tokenization Revolution

Another strong sector making waves is real world assets — i.e., the digitization and tokenization of physical assets. The goal is to bring blockchain technology and benefits to old world investments.

Real estate tokenization in particular has the potential to revolutionize the once illiquid and cost-prohibitive real estate market. In his piece, tech expert Jurica Dujmovic outlines the benefits of real estate tokenization and five projects leading the revolution.

That’s it for this week. We’ll be back, tracking all the market’s moves, tomorrow.
