Later, he worked for a private equity business, and then spent five years editing Standard & Poor’s flagship investment newsletter. He also wrote “The Standard & Poor’s Guide for the New Investor,” which was published by McGraw Hill and has since been translated into Chinese.

After leaving New York City, Nilus became a widely recognized expert on income investments and retirement strategies. He built up an enviable 15-year track record of winning ideas at the helm of various newsletters and trading services.

Most recently, he was the chief investment writer at Teeka Tiwari’s Palm Beach Research Group, which is where he developed a deeper understanding of the cryptocurrency markets.

Today, Nilus combines his traditional investing and crypto trading know-how in Weiss Crypto Investor. There, he shows Members how to start navigating the ins and outs of the crypto world and introduces them to opportunities that go beyond Bitcoin.

He’s been featured on shows like “Traders Nation,” “Invest Express,” “Wall Street Shuffle” and “Money Matters.” And, he’s shared the stage with industry heavyweights like Robert Kiyosaki, Timothy Sykes, Jim Rickards, Grant Cardone and Jon Najarian.

Nilus currently lives in Santa Barbara, California, and spends his spare time surfing, snowboarding and traveling around the world with his wife and daughter.
