Asset Allocation

Indicates the percentage of assets in each category. Used as an investment strategy that attempts to balance risk versus reward by adjusting the percentage of each asset in an investment portfolio according to the investor's risk tolerance, goals and investment time frame. 

Note: Allocation percentages may not add up to 100%. Negative values reflect short positions.

Automatic Investment Plan

An arrangement by which investors may initiate an account with a fund with a very small investment up-front, under the condition that they agree to invest a fixed amount per month in the future.
