We are only 17 days away from the U.S. midterm election. And the market can’t decide how it feels yet.
This is par for the course, as Sean Brodrick showed you last week.
Investors fear the unknown. But once there are election results, that stress smooths away and buying can begin again.
Though, a new study from Nationwide shows that investors are extra anxious about this election.
- 56% consider themselves more anxious heading into elections.
- 75% believe the outcome will impact their retirement.
- 40% said they have already made changes to their portfolio ahead of November.
Advisers agree. A full 75% of them believe this election will have a more meaningful impact on investments than previous election cycles.
Of course, this all can work in your favor.
